REV!
take-home whitening treatment is a revolutionary
two-step process that delivers optimal results in only 15 minutes,
once a day.
Step
1: begins with Perfecta REV! gel, a patented
14% hydrogen peroxide formula. REV! gel is water-based which hydrates
the teeth as it whitens to avoid thermal sensitivity naturally,
without the use of palliative additives.
Hydrogen peroxide, with
its shorter wear-time, is quickly becoming the whitening material
of choice for both professional and OTC products. Hydrogen peroxide
breaks down more rapidly than the traditional carbamide peroxide
products, so the whitening process is completed in a shorter amount
of time.
Step
2: Completes the whitening treatment with
REV! Finishing Rinse. After the whitening trays are removed,
2 capfuls of REV! Finishing Rinse are swished around the teeth
for 20 seconds and expelled. This refreshing mouth rinse
is formulated to act synergistically with the active agent in
REV! gel to provide rapid whitening without the sensitivity often
associated with high concentration peroxide formulas.
By incorporating a
highly stable form of antioxidant Vitamin C into the rinse, soft
tissue is protected from any available free radicals in the residual
gel after tray removal. Vitamin C, has also been shown to
be an important agent in promoting and maintaining healthy teeth
and gingiva.
Even though the actual
wear time for REV! gel is a brief 15 minutes, whitening agent
remains within the dentin tubules for a period of time after the
removal of the trays. REV! Finishing Rinse is specially
designed to accelerate and to complete the breakdown of this residual
gel, providing added whitening boost after the trays are removed.
REV! Finishing Rinse
also contains Pentasodium Triphosphate which is known for its
whitening effects. The addition of this sequestering ingredient
helps to "lift and remove"
enamel stain. The best feature of the rinse is its cool
mint flavor which leaves the mouth clean and refreshed after each
treatment.
