Rotary Kit
The Two Striper CEREC
3D Prep & Polish Diamond Rotary Kit from Premier Dental Products
Company contains seven Two Striper diamonds in an autoclavable
bur block and Luminescence Plus™ diamond polishing system.
These Two Striper diamonds have been specifically selected to
create well defined anatomy and readable preps, complementing
the benefits of CEREC technology for patient care.
Two Striper diamonds
are made with a patented bonding system that features a greater
concentration of diamond particles and significantly lower bond
height than electroplated brands. More cutting surfaces
of the natural diamond crystals are exposed for fast, controlled
tooth preparation and material adjustment.
Technique recommendations
by James Simon DDS, Director of Esthetic Dentistry, and Bryan
Schmidt DDS, Assistant Professor, Universityof Tennessee at Memphis,
are included in the kit.
The diamond shapes include
TS2000™ Speed Cut spirals and assorted other shapes for
CEREC tooth preparations as well as finishing and polishing procedures.
317.4C
(Inverted Cone/Coarse Grit) Ref. 807-016
This diamond is recommended
for gross removal of alloy or composite. It allows you to
drop into an undercut area to remove caries and achieve a smooth
cavo-surface margin while preserving enamel. Unlike conventional
inverted cones, this diamond has a slightly rounded end featuring
more surface area for rapid cutting while creating the ideal rounded
internal form.
515.7C
(Flat-End Cylinder/Coarse Grit) Ref. 837-014
This diamond is excellent
in refining the gingival margin, axial walls, pulpal floor, and
cavo-surface margin. A built-in 1.2mm diameter allows for
the perfect marginal depth needed for all porcelain restorations.
2003.9
(Round-End Taper Sprial/Coarse Grit) Ref. 850-014
This diamond is the
choice for high-speed inter-proximal step-through, and a quick
margin rough-out. This diamond has a rapid cutting ability
for gross reduction in preparation for a full crown. The
sprial groove allows for a clean, precise cut without clogging
the diamond.
260.8F
(Flame/Fine Grit) Ref. 862-012
Use this diamond for
finishing the inter-proximal walls and cavo-surface margins.
This diamond is effective for breaking contact between an adjacent
tooth and the gingival margin. You will find this diamond
helpful after cementation; use it for the gross finish of your
margins before your final polish.
2014.5
(Football Spiral/Coarse Grit) Ref. 905-027
The spiral design allows
for gross removal of tooth and adjustment of ceramic or composite.
Because of its smooth rapid cutting ability, you can make reductions
while following the normal anatomy of the occlusal surface.
This diamond is excellent for making/reshaping or reducing cusps.
The point on this diamond is effective in shaping the central
groove.
F1
(Occlusal Acorn/Very Fine Grit) Ref. 905-027
This diamond is ideal
for finishing the occlusal table. Whether refining the central
groove or placing supplemental grooves on cusp inlines, this diamond
can help create the desired anatomy.
285.5MF
(Football/20-Micron Polish Grit) Ref 368-020
This diamond is indicated
for finishing the occlusal aspect of internal restorations.
The 20-micron polish grit of this diamond is excellent for occlusal
surface adjustment just prior to final polish.
