Triple Tray®:
“The Can't Live Without”

Impression Tray

Once again, the Premier® Triple Tray® was honored as a product that dentists "can't live without" by a leading independent research institute.  Even with the introduction of other dual-arch impression trays, the original Premier Triple Tray continues to lead the way when it comes to satisfying the needs of dentists.

With over 80 million successful impressions taken since their introduction in 1981, Premier Triple Trays continue to receive high accolades by dental organizations, independent research organizations and by dentists in their practices.  Triple Tray has continued to evolve and improve, meeting the needs of dentists around the world.  It's clear  that not all dual-arch trays are alike and that imitators cannot match up to the Premier Triple Tray.

Here are some of the features that keep Triple Tray as a "can't live without" product:

Thin, Loose Mesh- Premier's mesh is the thinnest available.  This means that there is minimal interference for occlusion and a minimal amount of moisture is absorbed, preventing possible contraction of the mesh as the moisture evaporates.  The mesh used on every Triple Tray also is designed to fit loosely in the tray, avoiding distortion caused by "bounce-back" when the patient opens and the tray is removed.  The result is an accurate impression as well as an outstanding crown.

Anatomical Designs- Triple Trays are designed anatomically so that the tray fits the patient's mouth without risking impingement. With seven different designs, there is a tray to meet almost every need.

Low/Tapered Walls- Triple Tray walls are tapered to better fit the patient when the patient closes-another feature that helps to eliminate tissue impingement.  For patients who require it, the Sideless Posterior Triple Tray dramatically reduces the chance of tissue impingement.

The combination of seven anatomically designed trays will provide excellent impressions in all areas of the mouth (figure 3).  Premier's two most recent additions: the Wide Body Posterior Triple Tray (Figure 1), and the Extended Quadrant Tray (Figure 2) are used for taking impressions where more detail is desired or where the risk of tissue impingement is of greater concern. It is the combination of features that is available only in a Premier Triple Tray that gives dentists the results that they have come to appreciate for over 20 years!
